Willow Creek Office Upfit

Carrboro, North Carolina

Year of Design: 2004

Project Area: 1350 sq. ft.

Project Description: The project involved the interior upfit of a 1051 square foot (approximately) shell space on the second floor of the Willowcreek Office building. The upfit of the shell space was for general office space. The space is open with no enclosed offices.  An existing Air Handling Unit on the roof served the second floor shell space and was used for conditioning the upfit spaces.
 

 

 

Chapel Hill YMCA Lobby Renovation

Chapel Hill, North Carolina

Year of Design: 2004

Project Area: 2300 sq. ft.

Project Budget: $250,000

Project Description: The existing office area was expanded. The existing lobby was expanded to enclose the entry area under a covered roof area  The subject project involved the addition of approximately 400 square feet and the renovation of approximately 1,900 square feet of office space.  The HVAC system utilized the existing HVAC for the renovation and consisted of relocating/extending ductwork and diffusers. The proposed electrical systems for the project consisted of power, lighting, fire alarm and  telecommunication conduit design for both the new and renovated areas.

 

Urban Ministries Office Renovation

Durham, North Carolina

Year of Design: 2005

Project Area: 3975 sq. ft.

Project Cost: $434,000

Project Description: The project involved the interior renovation of approximately 4275 square feet of gymnasium space in the existing building. The space now house offices, waiting, a shop, interview spaces, and a pantry.    The project included relocating existing condensing units, adding A/C, lights and receptacles for offices, and toilets.

 

Atrium Drive Office Building

Raleigh, North Carolina

Year of Design: 2005

Project Description: The project installed a roof mounted unit to dehumidify the outside air prior to the existing air conditioning equipment. In addition, the project corrected the pressure relationship problem between floors and a performed a complete system air balance.
